Capricorn
Capricorn and Capricorn
Two adult Capricorns will find it often hard to make time for each other since they are often workaholics and might have other priorities that keep them from spending time together, but if they are pulling in the dough, then it's actually okay with them. They would have most likely met when they were relatively young like in college and dated steadily for a while before marriage. There is mutual respect for each other, but the love-making will get dull plenty fast after the initial honey-moon phase. The saying “keeping up with the Joneses” was probably referring to a Capricorn couple. Together, they will probably own the best house in the neighborhood with a recent model car showing off in the driveway.
Capricorn and Aquarius
They might be drawn to each other at first as they both exude a cool confidence and they both tend to be go-getters. But after a while, they will come to realize there are too many differences for a long term relationship to work. Aquarius is spontaneous and unpredictable, which will conflict with Capricorn's paint-by-the-numbers routine. They will not share many mutual friends together, as Capricorn is less likely to associate with those that can tarnish their reputation while Aquarius is willing to befriend even the weirdest people. Capricorn wants to eventually start a family but Aquarius don't even want to think about having children until they are much older. A major, if not impossible, compromise is needed.
Capricorn and Pisces
One likes to work and the other is hardly working. An ambitious male Capricorn will be fine with this arrangement as long as female Pisces is taking care of the house and children and schedule their activities. Their romance will be full of expensive chocolates, wine and flowers especially when they start dating. Expect a traditional wedding if these two marry, not a Los Vegas Drive-Through marriage. If it's a female Capricorn and a male Pisces couple, then the Pisces will have to offer the type of love and affection that Capricorn have never felt before in order to get Capricorn's hand in marriage. Capricorn and Pisces live for the finer things in life and will do well as a couple as long as Pisces don't get too lonely and run off with someone else and Capricorn don't go shopping for a newer, more attractive partner.
Capricorn and Aries
Both Aries and Capricorn are self-centered and ambitious which is fine. The real problem lies in them not always being able to see eye to eye as Aries is an impulsive idealist while Capricorn is a down to earth realist. The only way this have a chance of working is if they get into specific roles, with Aries playing the baby who wants to be spoiled and Capricorn as the father figure looking to take care of someone special.
Capricorn and Taurus
This is a good match with a lot of similarities. For starters, Taurus and Capricorn are both Earth signs and they are both practical, loyal and family-oriented. The two also love building status and wealth and this is something they can work on together. It is a no-nonsense relationship, and while things can sometimes get dull, the similar qualities they see in each other will keep them bonded.
Capricorn and Gemini
The only two similarities these two zodiac signs share is that they can become goal-obsessed when they want something badly enough. After the physical attraction wears off, Gemini will see Capricorn as a boring partner, as everything seems to be mechanical and serious with them. Capricorns hides their emotions well, but when they finally open up, they can display clinginess, which is something Gemini doesn't want. Not that the typical Capricorn would want to marry a Gemini anyway since they do not feel Geminis provide a solid commitment to a relationship.
Capricorn and Cancer
Cancer and Capricorn have many things in common they can both relate to. In the similarities department, both signs are ambitious and crave security. Their families are a big part of their lives and they keep the same friends around for a long time. This would have easily been a four-thumbs up match but Capricorn's lack of strong emotions conflicts with Cancer who is but full of emotion. If Capricorn puts other priorities before Cancer, it will no doubt hurt Cancer and it can potentially get worse from there with Capricorn's indifference to Cancer's feelings. This is still a good match overall as long as both parties commit fully to the relationship, something Capricorn and Cancer are known to be good at.
Capricorn and Leo
When a Leo and Capricorn get together, sometimes it is not for sincere reasons of love. Capricorn is far too detached and cold for Leo who needs someone that can express their love and emotion much more openly. But these two crave status, and they won't hesitate to become a couple if they are both good looking people, just for the sake of making themselves be seen. A wealthy Leo and a wealthy Capricorn might behave the same way and join in holy matrimony not for love, but for reputation. These types of unions hardly ever turn out well, as the passion never seem to be there to begin with.
Capricorn and Virgo
Virgo and Capricorn are highly compatible Earth signs with their feet firmly planted on the ground. They like the fact that the other is hardworking and dependable. They both are a lot less emotionally clingy than other zodiac signs so it works out in the relationship since the two sometimes need time to be alone. As a married couple, they can make very good parents, giving their kids strict rules and discipline. Virgo and Capricorn communicate well on a mental level and they do not need to compromise much, if any ,to make the relationship work. Quite frankly, it is very hard for a Virgo and Capricorn union to fail once they fall in love.
Capricorn and Libra
This pair do not make the best of matches. If by some chance these two signs get married, it is most likely they were dating for years and years before going down the altar. Libra and Capricorn have a lot of patience and will not rush into things, but that is the only main similarity they share. Capricorns pursue their career and goals relentlessly and while Libra would ideally like good finance and romance, they see romance as top priority and is willing to leave some goals behind to pursue it. Libra needs love but it's not Capricorn's nature to express it consistently. Money and status can be a huge reason for this couple staying together or not.
Capricorn and Scorpio
This is a terrific match worth diving into. Scorpio and Capricorn make for a good team when it comes to financial stability and taking care of the kids. They will work hard to achieve it. Scorpio may wish for more passion right from the start, but overtime, Capricorn will open up to Scorpio and the bond can only get tighter. Scorpios will have to get their priorities together from the start if Scorpio want to go beyond a first date with Capricorn. They would do well going into business together as a team, like a mom and pop operation.
Capricorn and Sagittarius
There is nothing extremely conflicting between a Sagittarius and Capricorn that will repel them from each other, but at the same time the two don't share enough similarities to maintain a solid relationship. Sagittarius is often an optimist and hate restricting rules. Capricorn is a realist, and realists are usually also pessimists. Capricorn prefer there be rules so that there is order. Capricorn will hesitate to try new activities which would make Sagittarius think of Capricorn as a bore. A Sagittarius that is too hyper will make Capricorn think hanging out with Sagittarius is akin to babysitting.
