Fire Signs

Fire signs are usually full of passionate energy and can be quite dynamic and temperamental. They can either keep you cozy or generate enormous destruction. While fire signs can burn out quick without fuel to keep it going, it can also start back up from the very ashes that it has disintegrated into. A single spark can set off a blaze of wild fire, so fire signs need to be nurtured and handled with care.
Earth Signs

Earth signs always have their feet on the ground, anchored by a strong solid foundation. Slow but steady, Earth signs are loyal and stable, sticking by their friends and loved ones through tough times. They are practical by nature and have good situational evaluating skills because of their level-headedness and logical thinking. But sometimes they can be too materialistic or too focused on the surface of things to see the layers beneath.
Air Signs
Gemini, Libra, Aquarius
Air signs are all about ideas and putting things into motion. Just like the wind, they are always changing. While some are real air-heads, you will also find others who are powerful like a whirling tornado. Air signs bring a breath of fresh air when things start getting old. Water Signs

The most emotionally sensitive of all the four elements, water signs are also intuitive, with borderline psychic intuition. They are mysterious by nature, with something always lurking underneath the surface. Water signs can rejuvenate you, or they can drown you in their murky depths. Security is of utmost importance to them. After all, water needs to be held with a container, or it will dry right up and vanish.

Fire and Air are more likely to be extroverted, dynamic and independent. Earth and Air are more likely to be introverted, driven by emotions and involved with steadier relationships. Things gets even more specific when each sign is individually matched up with another one. This creates many types of combos with their own positives and negatives.
